How It Works
As a leading manufacturer in the distributed wind industry, we sell our turbines globally with hundreds operating in the harshest of conditions. With a turbine proven in the field to deliver an excellent return on investment, it's only natural that we should operate some turbines ourselves.
| Mean Wind (m/s) | Est. Single Turbine Income | Est. Multi Turbine Income (Per Turbine) |
|---|---|---|
| 6 | £1,740 | £1,570 |
| 6.5 | £1,990 | £1,795 |
| 7 | £2,220 | £2,005 |
| 7.5 | £2,435 | £2,200 |
| 8 | £2,635 | £2,370 |
Evoco Wind Harvesting Ltd owns and operates turbines sited on third party land, paying for the use of that land by sharing 20% of the Feed In Tariff income with the landowner.

What's In It For Me?
A partnership with Evoco Wind Harvesting is quite simple -
We provide -
- All of the project and equipment costs
- All of the maintenance costs
- All of the expertise
You provide -
- A minimum 20 year lease of approx. 25 square metres of your land per turbine we install
- Access for installation
- Limited access for periodic maintenance
You receive -
- An index linked income worth up to £50,000 per turbine over the life of the project
- 1 - 5 FREE turbines depending on the quality of your site, planning consents and your personal wishes
- Unlike large scale wind farm development, you can still use your land for crops or pasture up to 5m from the turbine.
Is My Land Suitable?
As we have a limited number of our own turbines to install, and we share the income with you, our site requirements are more stringent than usual for an Evoco turbine. The primary criterion is wind resource. We need -
- An open aspect, usually rural, which is free from major obstructions which would reduce the wind to the turbine.
- A NOABL annual mean wind speed of 6.5m/s or above, OR
- A measured annual mean wind speed of 5.5m/s or more.
There are numerous other criteria which are important to us, relating to planning, grid connection, access etc, but these are usually determined by a site assessor. You can help us to consider some of these criteria for your site if you register your interest, by clicking the link in the registration form to provide additional detail. (The form is below)
